The Mini-/Maximelder consists of one control unit and one probe. Control unit and probe are interconnected by two-conductor signaling cable.
An alarm is set off by the Minimelder when the probe emerges. An alarm is set off by the Maximelder when the probe immerses.
The probe consists of a float switch that contains a movable magnet which is to make contact. The magnet is embedded in a float. When the probe immerses in a liquid, the float moves upwards. The factory-setting of the magnet inside the float is so that switching operation is effected by the Minimelder in emerged position, and by the Maximelder in immersed position.
The control unit comprises a shock-proof plastic casing which accommodates display and operating elements as well as all electronic components to convert the probe signal into a digital output signal. The Minimelder-R and Maximelder-R both deliver this output in form of potential-free relay contact (make contact).
Designed to signal minimum or maximum levels of water, heating oil EL, L, M, oil/water mixtures and neutral, non-viscous and non-adhesive liquids in tanks.
Minimelder: Part no. 16700
Generates an alarm signal when the level falls below the minimum level.
Minimelder-R: Part no. 16701
Similar to Minimelder, but with a relay (normally open contact) for transmission of the signal to external alarms or for connection to telecommunication or building control systems. For professional applications.
Maximelder-R: Part no. 16702
Generates an alarm when the level reaches the maximum set liquid level.
